About Canuso Creations

Lisa Canuso, founder and creator, launched Canuso Creations in 2020 to channel her creativity and promote an eco-friendly, resourceful, and decorative way of living. Lisa has always loved crafting and now enjoys meeting new people and sharing her work in person with others at arts and crafts shows throughout the northeast. With the launch of Canuso Creations online, Lisa is thrilled to share her creativity with the public.

Her focus on upcycling is a sustainable approach to reusing materials or products to create something of higher value or quality than the original. Canuso Creations transforms existing items into something new and aesthetically pleasing. The design process reduces waste by giving new life to items that otherwise would have been discarded or unused. 

Lisa started upcycling when she wanted to make centerpieces for her daughter’s sweet 16th birthday party. She wanted different and unique pieces, and decided to research the art of decoupage. The end result was completely fantastic –original handmade vases with personalized pictures and images that represented her daughter’s life and likes. 

Ever since, through painting, decoupage, and her own inspiration, Lisa has a story around each unique piece. Canuso Creations shares these stories and her creative expression with others. Lisa makes customized pieces when resources are obtainable and also creates bulk orders for party centerpieces and favors, but always reminds her customers that each piece is handmade and variations do exist.
